Principal's Message

Dear McGarity Elementary School Community,

Welcome to the 2026–2027 school year at McGarity Elementary School! I am excited to begin another year alongside our incredible students, families, staff, and community as we continue building a culture of excellence where every child is encouraged to learn, lead, and grow.

This year's theme, "Full STEaM Ahead on the Engine of Excellence – Keep Working on the Work," reflects our commitment to moving forward with purpose, determination, and a shared vision of success. Just as an engine powers a train toward its destination, our collective effort, collaboration, and perseverance will continue to drive McGarity forward. Together, we will embrace every opportunity to learn, grow, and achieve excellence.

At McGarity, we know that excellence is not achieved overnight. It is built every day through hard work, resilience, meaningful relationships, and a commitment to continuous improvement. "Keep Working on the Work" reminds us that growth happens when we embrace challenges, celebrate progress, and remain focused on doing what is best for students. Every lesson, every conversation, and every act of kindness helps move us closer to our shared vision of excellence.

Our dedicated teachers and staff are committed to creating engaging, student-centered learning experiences where every Mustang feels valued, supported, and inspired to reach their full potential. Together with our families and community partners, we will continue to foster a safe, welcoming environment where students are encouraged to be respectful, responsible, and ready to learn.

As we embark on this exciting journey, I invite each of you to partner with us in making this our best year yet. Together, we will move Full STEaM Ahead on the Engine of Excellence, celebrate every success, overcome every challenge, and continue working on the work that makes McGarity Elementary an extraordinary place to learn and grow.

Thank you for your continued support and partnership. I look forward to an amazing year filled with growth, achievement, and Mustang pride.
